Four 1-hour social skills groups to be used during a session (session are usually 7-8 weeks long) from Elba Behavior Solutions.

The social skills group is all play-based and tries to mimic the natural environment as much as possible. Some days include structured activities and some days it is playing with a partner. The sessions usually start with practicing greetings and then an ice breaker like two truths and a lie or telephone. The games/activities are chosen specific to the goals for each kid. For instance, if a kid in the group has a difficult time advocating for themselves, Ilexis may pair them with someone who is more assertive, so they really have to practice this skill.  Ilexis works with all the kids on giving themselves compliments so they can build themselves up!

Parents fill out an initial form and give information about the skills their child needs help with, and a light assessment is also done while with them in the group.
